The wage bill incurred by an inept chairman is a ball & chain round the club's neck (if football clubs have necks...) Anyone want a Bullard?
I agree the Championship is wide open this year, just about any team could finish in the top six. Even Scunny have won one their first two games. ![]() She comes out of the sun in a silk dress running like a watercolour in the rain... (Al Stewart, "Year of the Cat") |

Ross McCormack is a great player, and if Bellamy hadn't come to us I would be furious at losing him, so I hope you've got your extra-large cheque book out!

Like you say,I'm sure we would probably not had this opportunity had Craig Bellamy not joined you!We have agreed a fee which is undisclosed(I hate that!) so it's down to terms and medical.

We could've done with him tonight, losing to Peterborough! Never mind, we need to concentrate on the league anyway.
I hope he does well for you. He did a great job for us when he got to play.

I'm really getting fed up of these FIFA freeloaders walking around our country like they own it. And I'm fed up with the media sucking up to them. I say, fuck off! We don't need your poxy world cup in our country. We have the greatest football league in the world. We have never needed you and we don't need you now. So pack up your bags, put down the whores and get the fuck out of our country.

I'm not getting into any discussion about whether we want to host the World Cup or not, but it's irrelevant because as long Blatter has any say it will never happen.

I only realised there was an England game tonight on Wednesday. Hardly any build up. Really hard to get any enthusiasm going but I will watch it of course. Trouble is between now and the finals, no matter if we win every game 5-0, nothings going to matter. It's just a long wait to see if they can handle the pressure when the whistle blows for the first match in Poland/Ukraine.
Well I'm going to drink a flagon of scrumpy cider I have acquired of late and like Mrs Jack says 'remember it's just a game for God's sake and grow up'. If only life was that simple..

Fuck's sake. McManus, ninety-seventh minute!
Just as I was Googling "suicide emoticon" as well. This was against a team who were 22/1 to beat us. I'll say that again, this was against a team that are so poor they were 22/1 to beat Scotland ![]() I daren't imagine what Spain are gonna do to us

I'm glad we didn't play tonight. I'm still hoping they'll sack the 'shack (thanks Jack, you're the Mac) before the next game.
